WINDOWS XP Users: Read this!
Windows XP comes with a built-in and extensive guide for maintaining your computer. We recommend that you refer to that for maintenance of your Windows XP system.
To start the guide, press the Start button, then press "Help and Support". A menu will open. In the left-hand column, near the bottom of the list, there should be a link for "Performance and Maintenance".
