Please note the following regarding Laptop Maintenance Tips:

1. The tips found in the Laptop Maintenance Section of the LCS website are commonly recommended tools and strategies for keeping PC laptops healthy. The School of Law Information Services Department does not develop or fix errors in these tools and strategies. Please address questions and comments to the developers of the tools you will be using.
2. Your laptop may respond in a unique manner to this tools and strategies, and the School of Law Information Services Department cannot be responsible for any real or perceived changes or effects to your laptop or data. When possible, you will be advised of common effects of the tools and strategies below. However, you are solely responsible for researching the impact and effects before actually applying these tips.
3. The Laptop Maintenance Tips are only a starting point! A complete laptop maintenance routine is critical. The more you learn about why and how your computer works the way it does, the longer-lasting and faster your laptop will be.
