New Spam Filter!
Pepperdine's newly-implemented spam filter allows faculty, staff, and students to manage unwanted e-mail messages known as spam.
The filter identifies and blocks spam messages that come from the Internet. A list of the e-mail messages that are kept from entering your inbox is e-mailed to you daily. You can review the list of blocked messages, send blocked messages to your e-mail inbox, and customize the spam filter for your personal e-mail.
The spam filter is intuitive and easy to use. However, self-help material is available on Information Technology's Web site under Technology Support at: http://www.pepperdine.edu/it/help/spamfilter/default.htm.
Please try and attend one of the Information Sessions on November 1st to learn more about how to use the spam filter. To find out locations and times and more information about the spam filter please go to: http://law.pepperdine.edu/fcs/work/spamAnnoun.php.
If you have any questions, please call the Law Computing Support Office (x7425) or the Help Desk at (310) 506-HELP (4357).
